The 2023 Ford Escape arrives with a redesigned exterior with more a modern front and rear end, but perhaps the most notable change is that Ford has introduced an entirely new trim lineup. The 2023 Nissan Rogue comes with front-wheel drive standard, and Marshall Motor Company offers all-wheel drive with all trim levels. This is the case with many of the trim levels for the 2023 Ford Escape, but some, such as the ST-Line Select, include AWD, and others, such as the PHEV, don’t offer it at all. Nissan offers a single powertrain, which pairs a continuously variable transmission to a turbocharged three-cylinder engine: 201 hp and 225 lb.-ft. of torque. Ford offers a turbo three as well but the performance is notably less at 180 hp and 199 lb.-ft. However, if you want to spend more, there are upgraded engines available, and you can get the output to as high as 250 hp.
