2019 RAM 1500: Performance

This is a clear cut category with a clear cut winner. The 1500 will offer a 5.7 V8 engine that puts out 395 horsepower. The hybrid version of the 1500 gives you 305 horsepower which is STILL enough to beat out the specs of one of the 2018 F-150 three engines: 3.3 DOHC V6 (290 hp). With 395 being the number to beat, the F-150 fails on all counts: 2.7 turbo V6 engine (325 hp) and 3.5 turbo V6 (375 hp). Only when you get to its most powerful engine, and its most expensive option, do you get something that even EQUALS the base engine of the 1500. Ford's 5.0 DOHC V8 engine gives you 395 hp, but it still doesn't beat out the base engine of the 1500, so for sheer performance, we're going for the 1500.
